Torty the lucky tortoise


Torty was a lucky tortoise found by a solider named Stewart who was serving during world war 1. When the war was over Stewart decided to take Torty home to Dunedin because he had become fond of him. Torty slept the whole ride home all 5 months of it.

    Great retelling of the story on how Torty came to NZ. She was very lucky that Stewart was kind enough to look after her. I liked the pictures you made to go with the story too! Well done

    Hi Lily, good job creating this amazing comic strip. Maybe you could add some more about what Torty did while he was in New Zealand with Stewart. What did you use to create your comic? Could you add the goal that you were working on so people can see why you were creating a comic strip.
